Bill Hader & Kristen Wiig Rib Clueless Reporter on 'Skeleton Twins'
This past weekend, The Skeleton Twins hit limited theaters, the indie comedy sensation starring "Saturday Night Live" veterans Bill Hader and Kristen Wiig. The film is a big specialty box office hit, and this was one of my favorite films from the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year. If this movie is playing anywhere near you, go see it immediately. In the meantime, check out what happened with a local new reporter mistook The Skeleton Twins for a different movie that Wiig starred in. Thankfully, Hader and Wiig were good sports about the mistake (as was the reporter) and the rest of us win due to laughter. Watch!
Here's the live interview gone awry in question about The Skeleton Twins (via THR):
If you haven't yet, watch the trailer for the Sundance his The Skeleton Twins right here.
After ten years of estrangement, twins Maggie (Wiig) and Milo (Hader) coincidentally cheat death on the same day, prompting them to reunite and confront how their lives went so wrong. As the twins' reunion reinvigorates them both, they realize that the key to fixing their lives just may lie in repairing their own relationship with each other. The Skeleton Twins is directed by up-and-coming filmmaker Craig Johnson, of the film True Adolescents previously. The script is written by Craig Johnson and Mark Heyman. This first premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, where it was picked up by Roadside Attractions. The Skeleton Twins arrived in theaters starting September 19th this year.
