Fury

"I had the best gunner in the entire 9th Army in that seat. And now I got you." The first trailer for Fury introduced us to the tank crew facing seemingly insurmountable odds of survival in David Ayer's World War II drama. Now a new trailer from across the pond has surfaced, and this one focuses a bit more on Logan Lerman. As the recent featurette explained, he's the newest recruit of the Fury tank crew following the death of their gunner. But he's a young kid, and hasn't seen all the horror that Brad Pitt, Michael Pena, Shia LaBeouf and Jon Bernthal have seen, so he must be initiated, and it looks pretty intense. Watch!

Here's the latest UK trailer for David Ayer's Fury direct from Sony Pictures UK:

Written & directed by David Ayer (Street Kings, End of Watch), Fury follows a crew of Americans who embark on a brave mission. As the Allies make their final push, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany. Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Michael Pena, Jon Bernthal and Jason Isaacs star in the film which Columbia Pictures has set for release October 17th early this fall.

  • whoa!
I have to say the more they show of this film, the more I can not wait for this! It looks compelling, riveting, epic, incredible! I've come to truly respect the young Logan Lerman. That kid can act his butt off and I'm glad to see him in a film like this. I'm thinking his performance in this will even surpass his performance in Perks Of Being A Wallflower. I'm also a fan of Jon Bernthal's ever since The Walking Dead. Brad Pitt has always had my respect. So with all these incredible actors and what I've seen so far from the film, I'm more stoked for this film than I have been for any other in many years!

I find that hard to believe; your last sentence (excluding the "incredible actors" part).

My mistake for watching. Too much giveaway, 'Fury' trailers for me are off limits from here on out.

Agreed. Looks really good but it seems like they're showing everything but the last ten minutes...which you can probably guess at. Love anything with Brad Pitt in it though so I'm there.
  • Laser guns in ww2.
    • Dennis Olivares
You mean tracer rounds, but yeah they look pew pew pew too.

I'm gonna watch the shit out of this movie. But having said that I would so rather see a movie about Michael wittmann. the biggest bad ass in tank history...

    damn, those cartoons...

Fury is about Logan Lerman's character fighting the Nazis. Which fits because in real life, Logan is Jewish and both sides of his family were persecuted by the Nazis for being Jewish during WWII.

hm, ockay. Respectful. But still, does that really need to look like a picture-book for children? Does this trailer really reveal the story you are telling? Or do we have that sense? No, it almost looks like a 'Sucker Punch.' I mean, I could also sense some real story over there... But that didn't mean much, did it?
