Dakota Fanning & Elizabeth Olsen as 'Very Good Girls' in Indie Trailer
"We're going to college and we're still virgins." In the kind of film you would expect from the Sundance Film Festival, actresses Elizabeth Olsen and Dakota Fanning star in the sexy indie Very Good Girls. Olsen and Fanning play best friends who vow to lose their virginity before heading off to college (we've heard that one before), but they both end up having eyes for the same handsome, ice cream stand guy (Boyd Holbrook) at the beach. What follows is the traditional loss of innocence and drama that will make or break this friendship. It doesn't seem to have anything special, but the performances seem solid. Watch!
Here's the first trailer for Naomi Foner's Very Good Girls, originally from Apple:
Very Good Girls is written and directed by Naomi Foner as her feature film debut. Best friends Lily (Dakota Fanning) and Gerry (Elizabeth Olsen), home for one last New York summer, make a pact to lose their virginity before leaving for college. But when they both fall for the same handsome artist (Boyd Holbrook) and Lily starts seeing him in secret, a lifelong friendship is tested. The film also stars Demi Moore, Richard Dreyfuss, Ellen Barkin, Peter Sarsgaard, and Clark Gregg and features new music from Rilo Kiley's Jenny Lewis. Tribeca Film and Well Go USA Entertainment release Very Good Girls in limited theaters July 25th.
