Over one year since the film hit theaters, and Disney's musical fairytale Frozen is still all the rage. The film is so popular again this holiday season that Frozen toys are outselling Mattel's iconic Barbie toys. And since Disney isn't one to pass up a big franchise opportunity like this, there has to be plans for a sequel, right? Well, the studio has been pretty quiet about a follow-up to the film, though there's an animated short called Frozen River that will hit theaters next spring, bringing back all the main characters from the first film. However, star and singer Idina Menzel just may have confirmed that a sequel is in the works. Read on!

Speaking with The Telegraph, the Broadway star behind the icy heroine Elsa was asked what she could say about the future of Frozen, specifically rumors of a stage adaptation and possible sequel. Menzel responded, "That they’re all in the works!” The source followed up by asking if she was involved with the projects to which Menzel said, "Ah, yeah sure… Not the stage show – I don’t know what will happen with that – but the movie hopefully. We’ll see. I’m just going along for the ride." It sounds like she knows that a sequel is in the works, but maybe she hasn't been officially signed on to return yet. Stay tuned for more.

I'm for another, er..I mean my daughter is up for another!
CHA-CHING!~ It is about time. And I am totally down for it. It was not the best WDAS film, but it was enjoyable enough to warrant a sequel.
