First US Trailer for Lars von Trier's Risque 'Nymphomaniac: Volume I'
Though the risque Nymphomaniac: Volume I doesn't hit US theaters until next month, we've already seen a very raunchy tease for the entire sexy saga. But now the first tame trailer is here without any nudity and only some sultry intimacy to get the sultry story across. For those who don't know the film follows the life story of a nymphomaniac woman named Joe, played Charlotte Gainsbourg. Along the way she meets the likes of Uma Thurman as Mrs. H, Shia LaBeouf as Jerôme, Jamie Bell as "K" and Stellan Skarsgård as Seligman. This certainly won't be for everyone, but it definitely looks provocative. Watch it!
Here's the first trailer for Lars von Trier's Nymphomaniac: Volume I, originally from Yahoo:
Nymphomaniac is written and directed by controversial Danish filmmaker Lars von Trier (Dogville, Antichrist, Melancholia), who filmed two different versions and split the story into two volumes. A self-diagnosed nymphomaniac recounts her erotic experiences to the man who saved her after a beating. French-English actress Charlotte Gainsbourg, who appeared explicitly in von Trier's Antichrist, plays Joe, as the story is about her "hidden erotic desires" and spans her life from a young age to 50. Magnolia releases Nymphomaniac: Volume I on iTunes/VOD on March 6th and limited theaters on March 21st.
