Friday the 13th

Though Paramount Pictures and Platinum Dunes recently picked up David Bruckner, who directed the segment "Amateur Night" in the horror anthology V/H/S, to helm yet another reboot of Friday the 13th, it will no longer arrive on the wholly appropriate date of March 13th, 2015. Instead, Deadline reports the film has been pushed back to November 13th, 2015, which is still a Friday, so that's good. It's just a shame that it's not in October. Meawhile, Christopher Landon's Scouts vs. Zombies will take the March 13th release, up against Kenneth Branagh's new Cinderella and the drama Heart of the Sea. Stay tuned.

Well that was a poor decision on the studio. Oh well I hope this turns out good considering the last remake was perfectly fine the way it was.
