We're just a couple days from Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy blowing everybody away on the big screen, making what used to be just an obscure comic book title into a household name. And to give one last push to the film starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana and Dave Bautista along with the voices of Bradley Cooper and Vin Diesel, the comic book studio has unleashed a cool LEGO version of a TV spot for the cosmic adventure by Marvel/LEGO fan and YouTube star Forrest Whaley. It's pretty damn impressive, and it makes me want to go out and get some of the LEGO sets from the movie, or just see the movie again.
Here's the LEGO TV Spot for Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy from Forrest Whaley (via Disney):
Guardians of the Galaxy is directed by James Gunn (Slither, Super). Brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits — Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Peter discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to join his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand. Marvel Studios releases the film on August 1st this week.
