"Hello User." Welcome to Encom. Whenever I come across something incredibly cool like this, even if it's just a fan-made interactive website based on some small part of a movie, I feel the need to spread the word and tell everyone about it (thanks to io9 for the tip). This time it's one of the graphics from Tron Legacy, the boardroom visualization from early on in the movie when Encom's board discusses their plans and Sam Flynn hijacks the event. This boardroom visualization site was created by Rob Scanlon and uses WebGL and Event Source, borrowing data from Github or Wikipedia to work like it's a real interface. Check this out.

Here's the original behind-the-scenes video of the boardroom GFX, made by Bradley "GMUNK" Munkowitz:
Scanlon explains on the site regarding this new take on the boardroom visualization: "This is a reproduction of the graphics in the boardroom scene in Tron: Legacy. If you have not seen that movie, check out this background material on the making of that scene before proceeding. To make this a bit more fun, the boardroom is configured to visualize live updates from Github and Wikipedia, with more streams to come." "This was created by @arscan as a learning exercise. It is not affiliated with Disney, Tron: Legacy, Encom, Wikipedia or Github in any way. The source is available on Github." I really love it when fans make very cool interactive experiences. This site is excellent, and anything from Tron Legacy is usually worth mentioning.
