The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby

Last week news revealed the initial release of the combined romance The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby hitting theaters on September 12th would be followed by the split films The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby Him/Her on October 10th. Now an international trailer shows off the two-sided story. This is the first time we've seen the two films presented in this way, each telling a different side of the story of a once thriving romance, now crumbling, from the perspective of James McAvoy and Jessica Chastain. The trailer shows clips from the films side-by-side, and this is becoming a must-see. Watch now!

The story of a couple trying to reclaim the life and love they once knew and pick up the pieces of a past that may be too far gone. The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby is written & directed by first-time feature filmmaker Ned Benson, making his feature debut after a few short films including The Westerner and Yes. The film was originally designed as two parts: Him and Her, each one told from the perspective of the other person. Those two separate versions premiered at TIFF last year, and the combined Them version premiered at this year's Cannes Film Festival. TWC releases The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby in select theaters on September 12th this fall, followed by both The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby Him/Her October 10th.
