Jamie Chung Joining the Voice Cast of Marvel & Disney's 'Big Hero 6'
Despite a release date of November 7th 2014, we still haven't seen or heard much from Disney and Marvel's first animated collaboration, the adaptation of the lesser known superhero team Big Hero 6. We've only gotten some teases of concept art and settings, but we don't know what any of the characters look like, and so far only comedian T.J. Miller has been tipped to lend his voice to the project. But now one more voice has been revealed by way of NBC (via ComingSoon) as they list the animated flick in the screen credits for Jamie Chung, who has been in the network's show "Believe." But we don't know her role yet.
Chung has been seen in plenty of less family friendly fare like Sucker Punch, The Hangover Part II, The Man with the Iron Fists and has a role in this summer's Sin City: A Dame to Kill For. However, she also has a little bit of Disney experience since she played a live-action version of Mulan in the ABC series "Once Upon a Time." For those just joining us, Big Hero 6 features brilliant robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who finds himself in the grips of a criminal plot that threatens to destroy the fast-paced, high-tech city of San Fransokyo. With the help of his closest companion—a robot named Baymax—Hiro joins forces with a reluctant team of first-time crime fighters on a mission to save their city.
