Jason Sudeikis to Reuinte with Kristen Wiig in 'Loomis Fargo' Heist
After delivering a surprising comedy hit with We're the Millers last year, Jason Sudeikis is likely to keep the laughs coming with Horrible Bosses 2 coming later this year. And now The Wrap has learned about another comedy for the actor's future slate as the "Saturday Night Live" veteran is in final talks to join Zach Gailifianakis and Owen Wilson in Relativity's Untitled Armored Car Project comedy formerly known as Loomis Fargo. The film will mark an "SNL" reunion because Kristen Wiig just joined the cast of the comedy telling true story of four dimwits who pulled off one of the biggest heists in US history. More below!
More specifically, the film will follow David (Galifianakis), a disgruntled armored car driver who teams up with a co-worker (Wiig) on whom he has a crush and a crew of makeshift criminals to pull off a $20 million heist. The morons leave a massive trail of evidence behind them as they unwisely squander the money on mansions, cars and more. And rather than getting away with the crime and staying on the run, the driver's accomplices double-cross him and leave him alone in Mexico as they return to the US to spend more money. But David has a plan to turn the tables, and it might involve Sudeikis as a hit man. With a cast like this, we have high hopes that director Jared Hess can deliver something fun.
