The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part I

"We need to make it personal for her. Let her see what The Capitol did to District 12." Lionsgate just opened ticket sales for this fall's release of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part I, and along with that comes a short new trailer showing off some new footage from the first chapter in the two-part finale. Through voiceover, we hear President Alma Coin (Julianne Moore) and Plutarch Heavensbee (Philip Seymour Hoffman) talking about how they're not sure Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) can be the leader they need. But that seems to change when she's taken to visit her destroyed home in District 12. Watch it!

Here's the short new trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part I from YouTube:

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part I is the first movie in the two-part finale of The Hunger Games franchise, based on the books by Suzanne Collins. In this chapter we follow heroine Katniss Everdeen's (Jennifer Lawrence) journey as she leads the districts of Panem in a rebellion against the tyrannical and corrupt Capitol. As the war that will determine the fate of Panem escalates, Katniss must decipher for herself who she can trust and what needs to be done, with everything she cares for in the balance. Francis Lawrence directs the adaptation written by Danny Strong and Lionsgate releases the film November 21st.

I really hope these 2 movies ( wish it was one ) elevate that last crappy book..

I like the wickedness, malevolence that comes from the Donald Sutherland's character. But I'm afraid that ending is going to be bad, pointless dead end (I, happily, haven't read the book)... So, without reading it, I might enjoyed it for fun...

At first my heart skipped a beat at the thought of a sequel to District 9... But then I was not. Guess I am not that lucky...
