Fans of foreign films may have already seen Lea Seydoux get passionate in the acclaimed French romance Blue is the Warmest Color (now available on Netflix Instant), and now the actress is finding love again in Grand Central, the second film from director Rebecca Zlotowski (Dear Prudence). The film follows the maintenance team working at a nuclear power plant, where new employee Gary (Tahar Rahim) is taken under the wing of Toni (Denis Ménochet). But complications arise when Toni's wife Karole (Seydoux) begins an affair with Gary, and we see how that begins to play out in the UK trailer for the film. Watch it!
Here's the first UK trailer for Rebecca Zlotowski's Grand Central from Live For Films:
Gary is young, agile, a quick learner, one of those who's never been promised anything. After a succession of odd jobs, he is taken on at a nuclear power plant. There, amongst the reactors and their high doses of radioactivity, he finally finds what he's been looking for: money, a team, a family. But the team also includes Karole, Toni's wife, with whom he falls in love. Léa Seydoux (Blue is the Warmest Color) and Tahar Rahim (A Prophet) star in Grand Central, directed by Rebecca Zlotowski (Dear Prudence), from a script she co-wrote with Gaëlle Macé (The Place in Between). The film hits the UK July 18th, but has no US date.
