New 'Rage' Trailer Shows Off Nicolas Cage's Latest Bargain Bin Film
Late last year the first trailer for the action thriller Tokarev showed off a seemingly formulaic and unremarkable new film starring Nicolas Cage. At the time, there was no release date set. Now the film is slated for release this summer and has been given the new title of Rage. Sadly, the title doesn't make the film look any better as it seems to be the kind of throwaway movie that you get dared to buy in the bargain bin at your local Wal-Mart. At the very least, there are some great moments to add to the ever-expanding catalog of odd facial expressions that Cage brings to the big screen with such intensity. Man, we hope Cage pays off his debts soon so he can maybe go back to making at least one solid movie every other year. Watch?
Here's the trailer for Paco Cabezas' Rage (formerly Tokarev), originally from Yahoo:
Rage is directed by Paco Cabezas (Neon Flesh) and written by Jim Agnew & Sean Keller (Giallo). When the Russian mob kidnaps the daughter of a reformed criminal (Nicolas Cage), he rounds up his old crew of criminals and seeks his own brand of justice. Danny Glover, Rachel Nichols and Peter Stormare star in the film which Image Entertainment will send to VOD on June 10th and limited theaters July 11th. Well?
