Optimus Prime Kneels on 'Transformers: Age of Exctinction' Poster

"This is not war. It's extinction." The release of Michael Bay's latest outing with the Autobots and Decepticons is still over a month away with Transformers: Age of Extinction hitting in late June. Following the recent theatrical trailer debut showing off even more Dinobot action, another new poster has popped up featuring Optimus Prime with our trio of human heroes played by Mark Wahlberg, Nicola Peltz and Jack Reynor. The leader of the Autobots leans down, almost as if he's posing for a yearbook photo or a senior portrait, complete with his new sword that he will be using to slice up the latest villain.

Michael Bay is again directing Transformers 4, or Transformers: Age of Extinction, from a screenplay by Ehren Kruger, as his last film in the blockbuster series The film begins after an epic battle that left a great city torn. As humanity picks up the pieces, a shadowy group reveals itself in an attempt to control the direction of history while an ancient, powerful new menace sets Earth in its crosshairs. With help from a new cast of humans, Optimus Prime (voiced by Peter Cullen) and the Autobots rise to meet their most fearsome challenge yet. The cast includes Mark Wahlberg, T.J. Miller, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer and more and Paramount Pictures release the film June 27th later this summer.
