Well hello there little friend! Pixar has a new character to introduce us to today, and his name is Arlo. He's a dinosaur, and he's a cutie, of course. Disney-Pixar has posted a short new video to their Twitter account @DisneyPixar with a message introducing us to director Peter Sohn and his lead character Arlo from The Good Dinosaur. The film was originally supposed to be out this summer, but ended up pushed back to November 2015, late next year. Word is the movie has been "dismantled" & "completely reimagined", which means we're not sure what to expect or if any of the early details hold up, but here's the latest little official tease. One note - you can see the lead human character in a frame in the upper right at the end of the video.
Here's an embed of the tweet showing a short video of director Pete Sohn drawing Arlo from the movie:

Pixar's The Good Dinosaur is now officially directed by Pete Sohn, who is taking over from Bob Peterson, based on a story by Enrico Casarosa & Bob Peterson. The project has been in development since 2010 when early concept art was found. In the film, dinosaurs are the dominant species on Earth (since the asteroid missed and they lived on for millions of years). One day one of the dinos discovers a human toddler that isn't afraid of these creatures, and they adopt him as their pet. Arlo, the youngest and lead dino's name, will be voiced by Lucas Neff ("Raising Hope"). Neil Patrick Harris and Judy Greer voice his siblings Cliff and Ivy. John Lithgow and Frances McDormand voice their parents Poppa and Momma. Pixar's The Good Dinosaur was originally set for summer 2014, but was delayed until November 25th, 2015 next fall.
