Second 'Sin City: A Dame to Kill For' Trailer is Shorter But Still Sexy
When the sequel Sin City: A Dame to Kill For hits theaters in August, it will have been nearly 10 years since the first graphic novel adaptation hit theaters. It remains to be seen if there's still an audience eager for more of Frank Miller's seedy, stylized film noir, but with an impressive cast that posts Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Eva Green, Mickey Rourke, Ray Liotta, Rosario Dawson, Josh Brolin, Jessica Alba and many more, there should be some interest at least. Now to hype things up we have a shorter trailer for the sequel, which is like a condensed version of the original teaser from last month. Watch below!
Here's a shorter trailer for Robert Rodriguez's Sin City: A Dame to Kill For direct from Dimension:
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is directed by Robert Rodriguez who co-wrote the script with William Monahan (The Departed) and Frank Miller, creator of the graphic novel series and co-director of the first film. Dwight (Josh Brolin) is hunted down by the only woman he ever loved, Ava Lord (Eva Green), and then watches his life go straight to hell. Chronologically, this story takes place prior to "The Big Fat Kill" (seen in the first Sin City) and explains how Dwight came to have a dramatically different face. Jessica Alba, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Mickey Rourke, Juno Temple, Jaime King, Rosario Dawson and many others star in the film being shot in 3D and Dimension Films will send the sequel to theaters on August 22nd this summer. Excited?
