The Babadook

We just told you how to scare your kids this holiday season by picking up the prop replica of the titular book from the indie horror sensation The Babadook, and now it's time to scare up Christmas a little more. IFC Films has just sent out a chillingly charming animated holiday card featuring the creepy little guy. It seems a little innocuous at first, with a play on "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," but then the sound of The Babadook flying across the sky sends chills down your back, and then you realize just how The 'Dook stole Christmas. Send this to your family members and see how wonderful family dinner will be! Watch below!

Here's the holiday card from The Babadook straight from IFC Films:

Do you want to die?!” seven-year-old Samuel asks his stressed-out single mother, Amelia. But is it a threat or a warning. After dealing with Samuel’s frantic tantrums his entire life, Amelia suspects that her son has begun directing his violent misbehavior toward her. However, after a dark and foreboding children’s book called Mister Babadook mysteriously appears on Samuel’s bookshelf, Amelia must decide if her son is truly deranged, or if there really is a bogeyman lurking in their darkened halls at night. Essie Davis and Noah Wiseman star in The Babadook, written and directed by Jennifer Kent, which premiered at Sundance earlier this year. IFC Midnight released The Babadook in theaters and VOD last month. Seek it out right now!
