'Star Wars: Episode VII' Will Happen 30 Years After 'Return of the Jedi'
Briefly: Any official news on the developing Star Wars: Episode VII has been at a bare minimum, with the exception of endless casting rumors. The most recent talk of a new cast member came in the form of 12 Years a Slave star Lupita Nyong'o maybe playing a descendant of Obi-Wan Kenobi, but now an official announcement from Disney and Lucasfilm gives us the smallest of details. Production will begin at Pinewood Studios in London this May, and it was revealed Episode VII will take place about 30 years after Return of the Jedi and features "a trio of new young leads along with some very familiar faces." That's it.
