Alexander's Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

All right, well, it's not just Steve Carell that's having a bad day since the film is actually called Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, but the young titular boy's entire family slowly begins to have the worst day of all their lives. Complete with an introduction from Carell himself, the first trailer has arrived showing off the silly and goofy family comedy that we all expected, but we're not necessarily excited for. This just isn't our brand of humor, and it really seems to be over-the-top. That doesn't mean younger kids and average families won't enjoy it, but there's just nothing special here. Watch!

The first trailer for Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day from Yahoo:

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day is directed by Miguel Arteta (Cedar Rapids) and written by first-time scribe Rob Lieber. The film follows the exploits of 11-year-old Alexander (Ed Oxenbould) as he experiences the most terrible and horrible day of his young life—a day that begins with gum stuck in his hair, followed by one calamity after another. But when Alexander finds little sympathy from his family, he soon learns that he's not alone when his brother, sister, mom and dad all find themselves living through their own terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. Steve Carell, Jennifer Garner, Megan Mullally, Jennifer Coolidge and more also star in the film which 20th Century Fox releases October 10th.
