Wolf Creek 2

It's been nearly ten years since pigshooter Mick Taylor (John Jarratt) terrorized a young group of people exploring the Outback in Wolf Creek, but now he's got a new set of victims. Wolf Creek 2 continues the horror with a couple exploring the vast Wolf Creek National Park, until the sadistic serial killer with a penchant for bloodthirsty sport stumbles upon their campsite and aims to make the rest of their life (which won't be long) a living hell. The first trailer looks like more of the same for anyone who enjoyed the first film, but hopefully Mick Taylor will step up his game a little bit to be even more ruthless this time around.

Here's the full theatrical trailer for Greg Mclean's Wolf Creek 2, originally from Yahoo:

Wolf Creek 2 is directed by Greg Mclean (Wolf Creek, Rogue), who co-wrote the script with newcomer Aaron Sterns. Bored with the so-called commercial tourism of the city, two young and idealistic backpackers yearn to explore the “real” Australia and travel to the hauntingly beautiful but desolate Wolf Creek National Park. Far from civilization, the breathtaking vistas and vast open spaces belie a danger lurking in the shadows. Psychopathic pigshooter Mick Taylor is the last man any outback traveler wants to meet and now his irreverent attitude towards human life has escalated to a sadistic new level. RLJ Entertainment & Image Entertainment releases the film on VOD first this month on April 17th, and limited theaters on May 16th.

The first one is quite a gem in the horror genre. Not sure if this one will live up to it.

The first one is a horror film, but this one looks more like an action film.

Ugh oh no not again! The first one was overhyped garbage. I wanted to walk out of the theater when I first saw it.

I have not seen trailer yet as i am at work now but i liked the first film... however i fear (as what happens with most all "good" horror/thriller films) that its follow up will be a schlocky mess.
