'The LEGO Movie' Music Video Made with the Help of a 6-Year-Old Kid
If you saw The LEGO Movie this weekend (read my glowing review), then you probably had a hard time getting the film's trademark song "Everything is Awesome" out of your head. Not only is the song catchy as hell, but the tuned by Teagan & Sara, accompanied by The Lonely Island (of "Saturday Night Live" fame), but it's the perfect description of the movie itself. Now you can get the song stuck in your head again by checking out the music video featuring film footage, but more importantly, contributions made with the help of a 6-year-old boy named Markus Jolly and real LEGO pieces. Needless to say, it's awesome. Watch!
Here's the music video for "Everything is Awesome" from The LEGO Movie via Movies.com:
The LEGO Movie is a 3D animated film written and directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. The film follows Emmet, a completely ordinary, rules-following, LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world. He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared. Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Elizabeth Banks, Liam Neeson, Will Arnett, Nick Offerman, Alison Brie and Morgan Freeman all lend their voices to the film Warner Bros. Pictures has in theaters right now. Go see it!
