The 'Star Wars: Episode VII' Title Rumors Have Already Begun to Swirl
Now that we have the cast mostly locked down for Star Wars: Episode VII, it was only a matter of time before everyone moved on and the rumors about the sci-fi sequel's title began to swirl. We've already heard that Disney may already have plans to reveal the title at Comic-Con this summer (will they bring the cast?), but the first rumor out of the gate since the official reveal of the cast comes from AICN, who claims to have two separate sources revealing that the working title for Episode VII is The Ancient Fear. But that means this could just be a decoy title, or something meant as a placeholder until the real title is officially decided.
One of the sources told AICN that the title actually refers to Max Von Sydow's character in the film, who is said to be a villain "who makes Pazuzu look like a pussy." If you don't understand what that means, it's in reference to the demon who possessed Linda Blair's character in The Exorcist, which starred von Sydow. As we've said before, don't count on von Sydow being your normal Sith Lord who commands Adam Driver as his apprentice or right-hand man. We're pretty sure J.J. Abrams isn't going to recycle the same tired villain formula. Anyway, this title doesn't sound official, and there's plenty more rumors to come. Thoughts?
