'Transformers 4' Star Jack Reynor Already Has a Role in 'Star Wars'?
While we can pretty much assume that everyone under the sun has had a meeting or audition for Star Wars: Episode VII, production on the film is supposed to begin in May, so there have to be some key decisions regarding cast that just haven't been revealed. If a new rumor from AICN is to be believed, we might have a young actor who already has a role, and it could be a lead. Supposedly two different sources say that Jack Reynor, who will next be seen as one of the leads in Transformers: Age of Extinction (watch the Super Bowl tease here), has already landed a role in the film. However, they don't know what role yet.
Reynor will definitely be on the rise after the Transformers sequel hits theaters, much like Shia LaBeouf started getting more and more work after the first film in the toy film franchise. More than likely, if Reynor has indeed been cast, he'll take one of the lead roles. It's not as if a Star Wars sequel absolutely needs big names to bring in audiences, and the franchise has gone with plenty of lesser known talents before, for better or worse (see Hayden Christensen and Jake Lloyd). Reynor looks like he might make a good Han Solo-type character, but that's just pure speculation. Hopefully we'll get word on the official cast soon.
