Watch: Donald Glover in Childish Gambino's 'Chicken & Futility' Short
"Yo, it's Sunday…!" Here's the perfect bit of evening entertainment for Sunday, courtesy of a new short film by Childish Gambino, aka Donald Glover. The short is titled Chicken and Futility and comes direct from a big Complex mag interview and feature he's a part of. It's a fun little short where Glover, and a few of his friends, are discussing weed, a moth's existence, Chick-fil-A and more while playing video games one Sunday. Childish Gambino's last album, Because the Internet, was released in December and he has been touring nationwide with concerts/shows as well. It's a fun short film to keep promoting Childish Gambino.
The short was posted by Complex, where they've also featured an in-depth interview with Donald Glover, the man behind Childish Gambino. "I want to show how the Internet affects our lives," Glover told Complex. "As much as everyone can find someone on the Internet now, we still feel lost. I still feel very empty. It makes me feel more lost because nothing that I do is that different. Nothing is cool. We’re kind of alone in the universe. Like those Instagram notes I shared. We all feel these things, but nobody’s figured out how to solve them." Cool quote from the interview. What did you think of this short? And his album?
