Bill Murray

While Charlie Rose isn't as mainstream as something like "Inside the Actors Studio" or any of the late night talk shows, whenever a filmmaker or actor of note sits down with the spectacular interviewer, there's some very interesting conversations that take place. The latest episode featuring a one-hour chat with iconic comedian and actor Bill Murray is no different. In a new, fancier location, Rose sits down with Murray to talk about his career, but there's also some interesting turns into the actor's personal life, something which Murray rarely discusses in any of his appearances that have short interviews. It's just an awesome interview.

Here's the Bill Murray interview with Charlie Rose from Hulu (via The Film Stage):

The interview above contains reference to the way Murray seems to leisurely live his life with countless stories and photo evidence from fans all over the Internet describing their unique encounters with the star of Stripes, Ghostbusters and Groundhog Day. One of the more interesting revelations is that Murray almost quit acting after starring in Jim Jarmusch's film Broken Flowers. The actor says he couldn't imagine being in a better film after that. We're just lucky Murray decided to stick around, and he adds that he has no reservations about continuing to act for a long time. There's plenty more goodness above so watch it now!

I think that was easily one of the best, if not the best, interview I've ever seen.
He is everything Chevy Chase is not.

Hulu sucks all KIND'SA balls. Any UK/Overseas friendly links? Would be much appreciated.
