We've seen horror anthologies in the form of V/H/S and The ABCs of Death, but now the terror is headed overseas in a new series of interconnected horror stories called Fear Paris. The producers behind Paranormal Activity and Insidious have rounded up directors Joe Dante (Gremlins), Xavier Gens (Hitman) and Timo Vuorensola (Iron Sky) for a collection of stories within the realm of fantasy, horror and sci-fi, all set in "the dark underbelly of the City of Lights." The project doesn't start shooting until the summer or fall, but an announcement teaser is available. It's rough with lots of green screen, but looks dark.
Here's the announcement teaser for the horror anthology Fear Paris via SlashFilm:
The official press release for Fear Paris says: Helmed by directors Joe Dante (Gremlins, The Hole), Xavier Gens (Hitman), and Timo Vuorensola (Iron Sky), the genre bending and connected stories will present a Paris unlike anything seen before, in a combination of fantasy, horror and science fiction. Casting is under way as the film will go into production this summer/fall. Two additional directors will join the line up soon. The imaginative world will be created with the great visual effects minds from Pixomondo (Hugo) and Prime Focus (Gravity) and Richard Raaphorst (Frankenstein’s Army) as the concept designer. Stay tuned.
