Watch: Full Trailer for Eli Roth's Cannibal Horror 'The Green Inferno'
"You know what this is? You know what they're doing to us?" Following a short teaser trailer last month, a full theatrical trailer for director Eli Roth's return behind the camera with The Green Inferno has arrived. It does a nice job of making you think this is going to be some kind of melodramatic, feel-good, save the rainforest kind of story, but then the plane carrying a bunch of environmental activists crashes. What happens next is probably worse than what the survivors of "Lost" had to contend with as they encounter a tribe who holds them captive in the middle of the jungle. No good deed goes unpunished indeed. Watch!
Here's the latest trailer for Eli Roth's The Green Inferno, originally from Yahoo:
And here's the teaser poster for the film, with a whole lot of flesh on display from IMP Awards:
Eli Roth (Hostel) directs The Green Inferno which he wrote with Guillermo Amoedo (Aftershock), and is also producing with Worldview Entertainment and Sobras International. In the film, a group of student activists (Lorenza Izzo, Ariel Levy, Daryl Sabara and Kirby Bliss Blanton) from New York City travel to the Amazon to protect a dying tribe, but crash in the jungle and are taken hostage by the very natives they're trying to save. Open Road Films releases the film in theaters this fall in limited theaters September 5th.
