We already know that Ghostbusters is returning to theaters next weekend in honor of the film's 30th anniversary, and to pay tribute to the film, YouTube user MonsieurCaron has decided to bring one of the most iconic scenes from the film to life in LEGO form. The building blocks have been all the rage since The LEGO Movie hit theaters, and these impressive stop-motion tributes are just icing on the cake. Thankfully, this was made much easier by the release of the official Ghostbusters Ecto-1 LEGO set, complete with all four of our heroes. However, the ghosts who appear aren't necessarily what you would expect. Watch below!

Here's a scene from Ghostbusters recreated in LEGO form by MonsieurCaron (via Movies.com):

University parapsychologists Dr. Peter Venkman (Bill Murray), Dr. Raymond Stanz (Dan Aykroyd) and Dr. Egon Spengler (Harold Ramis) lose a research grant when their experiment methodology is proven to be bogus. The team decides to go into business for themselves and open 'Ghostbusters,' a ghost removal service. After struggling to get on their feet, they are summoned to investigate the strange happenings in Dana Barrett's (Sigourney Weaver) Central Park West apartment. What they discover is that all Manhattan is being besieged by ghosts and other worldly demons through a portal in her building. Columbia Pictures first released Ghostbusters in 1984, and it returns to theaters for its 30th anniversary on August 29th.
