Watch: 'In Order of Disappearance' UK Trailer with Stellan Skarsgård
"A father must avenge his son!" Time for some Norwegian revenge. The UK trailer for Hans Petter Moland's new film In Order of Disappearance has debuted, featuring the always-awesome Stellan Skarsgård as well as an impressive Norwegian ensemble cast. The film's structure involves following the deaths of many people, with the madness beginning when Skarsgård's son is found dead. It turns out he was involved in a drug ring and Skarsgård goes a bit crazy and takes on the entire clan, single-handed. It's a very dark, but incredibly fun thriller about the cold, snowy world of Norway. I highly recommend the film after first seeing it in Berlin and I hope it gets a strong US release soon enough. We'll be following it. Until then - have fun!

Introverted and hard-working snow plow driver Nils (Stellan Skarsgard) has just been named Citizen of The Year, when he receives news that his son has died of a heroin overdose. Disbelieving the official report, Nils soon uncovers evidence of the young man’s murder—a victim in a turf war between the local crime boss, known as "The Count", and his Serbian rivals. Armed with heavy machinery and a good dose of beginner’s luck, Nils embarks upon a quest for revenge that soon escalates into a full-blown underworld gang war, with the body count spiralling ever higher and higher. In Order of Disappearance is directed by Norwegian filmmaker Hans Petter Moland (of Comrade Pedersen, A Somewhat Gentle Man) from a script by Kim Fupz Aakeson. The film premiered in Berlin and opens in the UK this fall, but still needs US release.
