In what looks like it could just as easily be the opening music number of the sequel, The Muppets sing the catchy song "We're Doing a Sequel," which is something that pretty much every studio in Hollywood could be singing after every summer blockbuster. It's a glimpse into the clever new songs director James Bobin and songwriter Bret McKenzie are cooking up for this fun follow-up.
Here's the song "We're Doing a Sequel" from Muppets Most Wanted from Disney:
Muppets Most Wanted is directed by James Bobin (The Muppets) who co-wrote the script with Nicholas Stoller. This time the entire Muppets gang is on a global tour, selling out grand theaters in some of Europe’s most exciting destinations, including Berlin, Madrid and London. But mayhem follows the Muppets overseas, as they find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper headed by Constantine—the World’s Number One Criminal and a dead ringer for Kermit—and his dastardly sidekick Dominic, aka Number Two (Ricky Gervais). The film also features Ty Burrell, Tina Fey, Ray Liotta and many more with Walt Disney Pictures releasing the film everywhere on March 21st, 2014 next year. Excited?
