Watch: Roll Call Trailer for 'The Expendables 3' Teases One Last Ride
Following yesterday's weird senior photo character posters for The Expendables 3, the hype machine for the sequel is in better shape today with a roll call trailer showing up the enormous action ensemble cast. In addition, this teaser also seems to indicate that this film will be the last in the action franchise started by Sylvester Stallone. There looks to be an awesome train sequence and everyone seems to be having fun, so this could be the best film in the series. We're just not sure why they felt the need to steal the font from the Fast & Furious franchise. Anyway, we're looking forward to seeing more from the action sequel. Watch now!
Here's the roll call trailer for Patrick Hughes' The Expendables 3, originally from Yahoo:
The Expendables 3 is directed by Patrick Hughes (Red Hill) and written by Sylvester Stallone and Olympus Has Fallen scribes Creighton Rothenberger & Katrin Benedikt. Barney (Sylvester Stallone), Christmas (Jason Statham) and the rest of the team comes face-to-face with Conrad Stonebanks (Mel Gibson), who years ago co-founded The Expendables with Barney. Stonebanks subsequently became a ruthless arms trader and someone who Barney was forced to kill…or so he thought. Stonebanks, who eluded death once before, now is making it his mission to end The Expendables, but Barney has other plans with a new era of Expendables team members, younger, faster and more tech-savvy. The film is released on August 15th.
