Daniel Craig James Bond Tribute

"You don't trust anyone, do you James?" It may be a bit too early to be posting a tribute to the Daniel Craig era of James Bond movies, considering we're still in the midst of it, but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy one anyway. YouTube user Steven Thomas has edited together an excellent five minute tribute to Daniel Craig as Agent 007 in anticipation of his fourth movie coming up, Spectre, directed by Sam Mendes arriving in theaters this November. Roger Moore made seven Bond movies, Sean Connery made six (not counting Never Say Never Again), so Craig has a few to go to match them. I'm very excited for Spectre and I'm hoping it's as good as if not better than Skyfall. In the meantime, watch this 007 tribute in full below.

Description from YouTube: "Relive James Bond's movies incarnated by Daniel Craig. Since Casino Royale to Spectre. James Bond will return in October with film Spectre directedy by Sam Mendes. Personally my favorite James Bond is Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace has great actions sequence but very influenced by Jason Bourne and Skyfall is amazing, has certainly one of most beautiful and outstanding cinematography you can seen [sic]." Everyone seems to debate about the merits of all of them, though most people usually settle on Casino Royale being the best of Craig's movies so far. There was quite a bit of initial outrage at his casting, even inspiring the launch of still-active website danielcraigisnotbond.com. Spectre arrives this fall.

I really hope Spectre is decent. So far Craig has been 1 and 2 in my book. Skyfall and Quantum of Solace were extremely mediocre.

honestly, i respect your right to an opinion and with QOS perhaps, but Skyfall was one of the best bonds ever, its also had great reviews across the board, and the highest grossing bond of all time. occasionally flawed but mediocre, not really and with one of the best villans ever. QOS was hampered by writers strikes at the time and a shortened budget.

Skyfall was a horrible Bond movie. You pretty much have to judge it as a movie by itself since it has so little in common with any of the classic Bond movies. It was a mediocre action movie. I wish they would remember what made movies like Goldfinger so incredibly awesome and channel that. To say it's one of the best Bond movies simply tells me you either hate James Bond or don't get it. One of the best villains? Ha...please. Completely forgettable compared to Goldfinger, Zorin, scaramanga, Largo, Jaws, Odd Job, 006, etc.
        • Got some solid points...and this is coming from someone who enjoyed Skyfall very much...

Please see my reply above, it closer to the source material than you would realise.

And yes I do love bond movies, and have read the books, so I feel I make my comment with a little back up.

I think people who love Skyfall love it as something OTHER than a James Bond movie. Maybe that was my problem going into it. I was expecting classic James Bond which it most definitely was not. Maybe I need to re-watch it with the expectation that it's a new IP.

For me, Craig represents the perfect modern James Bond. Although his initial casting was surprising, his interpretation of the character is masculine, cool and absolutely entertaining on screen. I can't wait to see wait he brings to SPECTRE.
