Jane Got a Gun

Before the end of 2014, we got word that the once trouble western Jane Got a Gun was being delayed yet again. The film was initially set for release last August, but was delayed to February 20th, 2015. And the latest news revealed it had been pushed back another six months to September 4th, 2015. But it seems this release date might stick, and now we have some first look photos from the film starring Natalie Portman and Joel Edgerton. It looks pretty much how you'd expect a western to look. No sign of Ewan McGregor yet, but he may be in that photo of what is likely the gang giving Portman and Edgerton trouble.

Here's the first photos from Gavin O'Connor's Jane Got a Gun from Unanimous (via The Playlist):

Jane Got a Gun is directed by Gavin O'Connor (Warrior) and written by Brian Duffield (The Divergent Series: Insurgent). After her outlaw husband returns home shot with eight bullets and barely alive, Jane (Natalie Portman) reluctantly reaches out to an ex-lover (Joel Edgerton) to help her defend her farm when the time comes that her husband’s gang eventually tracks him down to finish the job. Noah Emmerich also stars in the film as Portman's pursued husband while Ewan McGregor plays the gang leader. Rodrigo Santoro and Boyd Holbrook also star in the film which hits theaters this fall on September 4th, 2015.

I am really for Portman to come back to us. She has been running around in limbo for too long. She looks particularly thin in this maybe just the angle?
