Bus 657 - Robert De Niro

"The wheels on the bus go ’round and ’round…" Gulf Film has debuted the first full trailer for action thriller Bus 657, about a desperate father's bus heist gone wrong. Jeffrey Dean Morgan stars as the hijacker, a father without the means to pay for his daughter's medical treatment. Robert De Niro plays kingpin "The Pope" and the cast includes Dave Bautista, Kate Bosworth, Gina Carano, Morris Chestnut and D.B. Sweeney. While this seems to be bordering on straight-to-DVD quality, I don't think it looks awful. I like the way this trailer is cut to the music, and focuses on the action more than anything. Give it a look below.

Here's the first official trailer for Scott Mann's Bus 657 Heist, direct from YouTube (via The Playlist):

A father is without the means to pay for his daughter's medical treatment. As a last resort, he partners with a greedy co-worker to rob a casino. When things go awry they're forced to hijack a city bus. Bus 657 is directed by filmmaker Scott Mann, of the action movie The Tournament previously. The screenplay is written by Stephen Cyrus Sepher and Max Adams. The film has yet to premiere officially or show up at any festivals or otherwise; it's set for release in Russia this October. It was filmed mostly in Alabama. Lionsgate will release Bus 657 in the US, but no date has been set. Stay tuned for more on this. Anyone interested?

If they don't want me to see the trailer, I am not going to see the movie.

I feel like this movie has been done before at least three times....

Exactly what I was thinking. Pretty derivative stuff. Didn't Denzel Washington do something like this a while back where his character took hostages in a hospital or something because he had a sick kid? Plus, they block the video like it's Birth of a Nation or something. Kinda funny.

I think Denzel was in something similar. Or maybe Jamie Foxx.... whatever. This looks bad.

The Denzel film you are referring to is John Q.

          Ah...right. Thanks.

Always nice to see two film companies get their signals crossed and blocking content to their own film.
    That supporting cast though...all washouts.

Why, David? Would you have a hard time 'suspending disbelief' in watching them?'t help myself. Just wanted to further make my point regarding my 'train of thought' on these matters as you so well put it. Cheers. And, oh yea, have a good day.

Oh for chrissakes, David....come on, man. I am attempting to have some fun here. What's with all the immaturity and insecurity on this site? Look, never mind man. Have a good life. With nut jobs like this Venom guy on this site and your recent comment I bow out. Jeez, man.
          • DAVIDPD
Ahhh, Bo! C'mon man...don't be like that. I am sorry for stepping on your toes. Lighten up man. I didn't mean to offend you. "Sticks and stones..."

"I like to use the word "intelligent" or a derivative as many times as possible in my posts in some sad attempt to appear more intelligent than I really am. I suffer from an extreme case of intellectual insecurity and are therefore preoccupied with my own intelligence or lack there of." - Bo
