Mad Max: Fury Road

"But most of all, I remember the Road Warrior." Mad Max: Fury Road may be continuing a franchise that hasn't been active in decades, but the wild and crazy trailers for the summer release certainly have plenty of people excited. But if there are those who have no idea what to expect from the film starring Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron, or may be looking for a little more background on George Miller's insane, post-apocalyptic franchise, a new trailer has popped up that dives into the legacy of Mad Max, starting way back in 1979. The trailer runs through footage from the original films before Fury Road gets teased. Watch!

Mad Max: Fury Road is a reboot of the adventure franchise that began with Mad Max in 1979, starring Mel Gibson. George Miller, the director of the original film and its sequel, is back behind the camera, working from a script he co-wrote with first-time writer Nick Lathouris. Within this world of fire and blood exist two rebels on the run who just might be able to restore order. There’s Max (Tom Hardy) a man of action and a man of few words, who seeks peace of mind following the loss of his wife and child in the aftermath of the chaos. Meanwhile, Furiosa (Charlize Theron) is a woman of action who believes her path to survival may be achieved if she can make it across the desert back to her childhood homeland. Nicholas Hoult, Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keough and more star in the film Warner Bros. Pictures releases this summer on May 15th. Ready?

Still wish Mel Was playing Max, it's like replacing Harrison as Indy with Chris Pratt....

Not quite! Tom Hardy is no Chris Pratt, who wouldn't rate a pimple on Hardy's butt! I liked Gibson in these films; especially liked the 2nd film, The Road Warrior...great supporting cast/characters and loved the little boy with the long hair and boomerang! Look, Hardy is very much up for the task in this film and Gibson is way too old and audiences don't much care for him anymore due to his drunken rants. Bad for box office and all that! Hardy is unmatchable in today's actors. He'll be great in this!

Maybe Hardy could have been Max Rockatansky Jr ...Jr. But either way it looks awesome! More awesome than I expected. May be this summers Prometheus....oh wait

Miller pretty much invented the Post apocalyptic movie. So bad ass.

Read that Theron and Hardy were at each others throats a bit, Miller included. Can't wait!
