Tomorrowland

"With every second that ticks by, the future is running out." So far we've only seen a little bit of Brad Bird's original sci-fi adventure Tomorowland, but with the film just over a couple months away, it's finally time to see more. Britt Robertson stars in the film as a bright teenage girl who encounters a former boy genius (George Clooney) who sets her off on a journey to this mysterious place known as Tomorrowland. Now we finally get an idea of the story at the heart of the film and this looks like the kind of live-action Disney adventure we've been missing, full of originality, amazing visuals and much more. Watch!

Here's the second trailer for Brad Bird's Tomorrowland, originally from Disney:

You can still watch the first teaser trailer for Tomorrowland right here.

Tomorrowland is directed by Brad Bird (of The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol) who co-wrote the script with Damon Lindelof (Star Trek Into Darkness, Prometheus). Bound by a shared destiny, a bright, optimistic teen (Britt Robertson) bursting with scientific curiosity and a former boy-genius inventor (George Clooney) jaded by disillusionment embark on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space that exists in their collective memory as "Tomorrowland." Walt Disney Pictures releases the film everywhere on May 22nd this summer.

All those things that didn't make sense in the trailer. I'm willing to bet money that none of it gets explained in the movie

I think I'm skipping this. I don't think it looks bad, I just just understood very little out of it.

That is the point of the trailer. I don't understand it either, that's why I'm interested in seeing the movie. If they release another trailer which tells the whole plot (and showing the best scenes), then I'll just wait to be released on VOD.

I'll see it. I just hope that what apears to be the seeds of a compelling human story about connecting one's past with the future, doesn't get muddled and lost in the whiz-bang of time travel and tranportation special effects gimmickery.

So much hate in these posts...I just gotta say I trust Bird and have loved all of his movies so far, and this trailer doesn't give me any reason to believe it will be a let down. Love it!

Looks awesome to me. I love the way Bird tells stories. The Iron Giant is one of my favorite movies and he pretty much put fuel back into the MI franchise so I am very much looking forward to this movie.

Keeping my distance from this film. At all costs. Cool to see Clooney and Laurie together. Two famous doctors together at last!

I had high hopes for this but it looks to be even more of a kids movie as The Incredibles.

Armitall on Mar 10, 2015

Looks potentially cool, might be cheesy, but I REALLY hope there's a more compelling pin-origin than "oh this pin isn't mine." "Sure it is, the screenwriter put it there!"
