My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 Trailer

"And my family is still too close." Universal has debuted the first trailer for the long-awaited sequel of all sequels, My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, directed by Kirk Jones. If you recall, the original My Big Fat Greek Wedding was a huge hit with the adults, and played in theaters for months wracking up a massive $241 million at the box office during its run in 2002. Maybe they're hoping this will do just as well? The cast includes John Corbett and Nia Vardalos, once again, with Rita Wilson, John Stamos, Alex Wolff, Mark Margolis, Lainie Kazan & Joey Fatone. If you've been waiting 13 years for this, well, have at it.

Here's the first official trailer for Kirk Jones' My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, found on YouTube:

After spending most of their time focusing on their troubling teenage daughter, Toula and Ian (John Corbett, Nia Vardalos) are facing marital problems while also having to deal with yet another Greek wedding - this time, even bigger and fatter. My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 is directed by filmmaker Kirk Jones, of the films Waking Ned Devine, Nanny McPhee, Everybody's Fine and What to Expect When You're Expecting previously. The screenplay is once again written by actress/filmmaker Nia Vardalos. Universal will release My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 in theaters everywhere on March 25th, 2016 next year, where it opens as counter-programming against Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Not a bad idea. Anyone in?

Because the world was clamoring for this...? Egads...

No. The first one was successful because it was quite novel. It was lightning in a bottle. This will surely flop.

We can only hope.

Personally, and I may be in the minority here but I think it looks cute. Every movie can't be torture porn, superhero, kids movie, Liam Neeson running around or Star Wars. I'm an avid fan of the horror genre and cinefile all around, which means I like a little mindless entertainment. I like the little humor. I like a little diversity and a little family comedy and no this doesn't look like it has the charm of the original but it doesn't look like it sucks either.

There are some sequels (and prequels) that weren't meant to happen.....

Do we really need a sequel to this, tho? C'mon Hollywood, step ya game up!

Till I saw the draft which was of 8135 dollars, I accept that my friend’s brother was like really generating cash in his free time with his pc. . His aunt's neighbor has done this for only 9 months and by now repaid the loan on their home and bought a new Car .Look here for details ...☞87

My big fat greek divorce would've been better.

My wife loves the first one. But c'mooooaaaaaann. The two actors actually made a movie in between this that was also a love story too, just seems a bit silly.
