Good Kill

"War is now a first-person shooter." Following the first trailer for Andrew Niccol's timely and relevant drone pilot thriller Good Kill, a new trailer from the United Kingdom has surfaced showing off the more personal side of the film. Ethan Hawke plays a fighter-pilot turned drone pilot operating out of Las Vegas who begins to question his mission and his integrity as he fights a war from thousands of miles away. His family life, along with his wife (January Jones) begins to feel his pain, not understanding the stress. It looks a little heavy-handed and even obvious, but the subject matter is certainly worth exploring. Watch!

Here's the UK trailer for Andrew Niccol's Good Kill from Arrow Films UK:

Good Kill

You can still watch the first international trailer for Good Kill right here.

Good Kill is written and directed by Andrew Niccol (In Time, Lord of War, Gattaca). A fighter-pilot turned drone-pilot (Ethan Hawke), based in Las Vegas, fights the Taliban by remote control for twelve hours a day, then goes home to the suburbs and feuds with his wife and kids for the other twelve. But the pilot is starting to question the mission. Is he creating more terrorists than he’s killing? Is he fighting a war without end? One soldier’s tale with epic implications. January Jones, Bruce Greenwood, Zoe Kravitz and Jake Abel star in the film which IFC Films will distribute, but a United States release date has not been set. Interested?

There's no excuse for American Sniper ... Clint did wrong ...

Not enough "America! F*ck yeah!" Gonna be boring. "Should we abort" ... No the kids have to die even though the bad guys aren't going anywhere anytime soon. Thought process/common sense all flew out the window early on.
