Batman v Superman Trailer Teaser - Batman

Whoa. Superman looks pissed. Not everyone is going to be okay with this, but it's also just a small tease of a much bigger story. During the latest episode of "Gotham", Warner Bros debuted this very intense tease for the new trailer for Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The next new trailer arrives Wednesday night, and as much as we despise these teasers for the trailer, I couldn't help sharing this one because it's so damn provocative. The look on their faces… damn. I want to find out what they say next! Now they have my attention. Ben Affleck stars as Batman, Henry Cavill stars as Superman, Gal Gadot stars as Wonder Woman. More to come in the next few days once the latest trailer lands. Until then, take a peek.

Here's the new teaser for the new trailer for Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman, direct from Warner Bros:

Zack Snyder's sequel Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in the DC Comics Universe will bring back Henry Cavill as Superman and introduce Ben Affleck as Batman. Amy Adams, Laurence Fisburne and Diane Lane are all reprising their roles from Man of Steel, while more new additions include Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Holly Hunter in a role newly created for the film. Jason Momoa will also appear as Aquaman and there have been rumblings of Ray Fisher as Cyborg. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters next spring, March 25th, 2016. Batman is shaking in his boots. I don't get the feeling that's Clark Kent you know? Too sinister.
    • Justin R
I have a feeling it's a dream or something similar. Pretty much a view of what Batman thinks Superman is like. Just my two cents though.
      • capitandelespacio
        A wet dream?
It must be near the beginning when Bats does not have a plan on how to deal with Supes. I think it is the real Superman though.
      • Jon Odishaw
But would superman have soldiers kneeling before him?
    • qweqwu
That's how it should be, superman has nothing to fear, I'd wish he obliterated batman with his laser vision in this scene, that would've made batman fans cry like little biatches.
DAMN!!! I know there is some chance this will not be good, but this just looks so freaking good. What did Batman do???~~
    • Mr. Kaneda
What is so good about this is they still utilize practical effects.
  • ari smulders
Superman is ofcourse a god, so kneeling isn't that strange, but it can't be so ofcourse.

If anyone thinks this ISN'T a dream sequence...I have some pet rocks for sale. There is a toy figure of this outfitted Batman and it's called "Knightmare Batman". It was displayed at the NY Comic Con. Knightmare. Get it?? This is simply what Batman fears the most. A new world order with Superman as a supreme leader.
    • TheOct8pus
I hope not. Dream sequences in movies like this are such a copout.
      • IrishPryde
Depends on how it's done. IMO, this setup is to make Batman less of the "bad guy" in this and makes us more sympathetic to why he's so against Supes. An insight to what Bruce Wayne's worst fears are.
  • Higgens
I have a hard time seeing THAT supes as the boy from down on the farm. Either Batman done gone and did something we ALL would find quite terrible or Bats is have a Knightmare.
    • TheOct8pus
I'd say it's just gullible Superman falling for a lie about Batman.....somebody probably put a framejob on him.
      • capitandelespacio
Probably Mark Zuckeberg has something to do with hat.
        • TheOct8pus
Like he spread false rumors on Facebook?

    Dig it.
  • Taternuts222
Could be a dream sequence, but I'd like to think it's Lex Luthor pitting the two against each other. Other trailers seem to show a pretty angry Superman. I wonder what Luthor is telling him. It seems possible there's something else in play that fans are not aware of yet. And speaking of Lex Luthor, I think Jesse Eisenberg is a bad casting decision. I just don't see it.
    • ColtNoir
You also haven't seen the movie yet. People thought Heath would be a bad Joker. we know how that turned out.
      • Taternuts222
Correct. I have not seen the movie. What I did was give an opinion based on the character and based on the actor. I will be the first to admit I could be wrong. Time will tell. I see Eisenberg as a comedic actor and not someone who should be playing a criminal mastermind. If you saw "Now You See Me" and enjoyed it, our opinions obviously differ. As for Heath Ledger, I thought he was really good, but he only won the Oscar because he died.
        • ColtNoir
I understand that's what you did, and my example was when doing just that, often leads people to be incorrect in their assumptions. I haven't seen that film. He won because he turned in, arguably, the best performance in a CB film, at that time. and again, the point was: before the film was released, people assumed he'd be wrong for the part and didn't want it to happen.

We are missing like context to get what's happening here. And at the same time I'm trying to figure out why they have chosen to show this thing. Oh, yeah, we forgot about Star Wars for about 49 seconds.
  • capitandelespacio
Supes pulls out the cowl alongside with Batsys black eye make up.
    • TheOct8pus
He used his superspeed to wipe it off
      • capitandelespacio
Like he licks it off... so sexy.
  • bobby_drk
He pulls off the mask because x-ray vision is broken?
    • TheOct8pus
You too?? Just stop it with the x-ray vision nonsense.
    • capitandelespacio
I'm wild guessing here, ok? I haven't seen the movie yet, BUT, I guess it is a dramatic thing to demostrate that behind the mask he's just a dude. Supes is trying, without saying a word, to show how pity Bats really is. I'm not sure that the gest is to see who's behind the mask more like a thing to show to him and others that he's his bitch now.
      • ryderup
Or it's just a dream Batman has.
        • capitandelespacio
Of being tied up and stripped by Superman?
  • David Diaz
If it's not a dream he could be on red kryptonite. He looks pissed! Guess we'll see the full trailer tomorrow.
  • I'm Batman
Anyone else feel weird about what Batman is wearing in this scene? Its like somehow George Lucas, Steven Spielberg, and Zack Snyder crossed passed and suddenly discussed what a Batman/Indiana Jones crossover would look like. Maybe the Indy comparison is not totally correct either. Whatever it is, he looks strange. Like, I picture Batman putting on that coat, then putting on his wrist guard things like, "yeah, that's the look...."
    • capitandelespacio
You should check out Batman #666 by Grant Morrison. And no, there's nothing wrong with the costume there, looks awesome :)
      • TheOct8pus
        But he's butt naked....
        • capitandelespacio
          Holy b*lls, Batman!
      • I'm Batman
Well I feel sheepish. Suddenly it does look kinda cool haha.
    • Mikeal
It's a dream sequence, so we don't really know what precedes this look for him. The reason I say it's a dream sequence is because Superman would never allow himself to be bowed down to, not with the way they write the character.
  • TheOct8pus
I thought Batman was Luke Skywalker....
    • capitandelespacio
    • bobby_drk
so when Superman removed the mask and revealed that Batman is DareDevil I was blown away!
      • TheOct8pus
Then Daredevil screams, "I can see!! I can see! It's a miracle!!!"
  • Lagoya
    Batman will kick Supermans @$$!
  • DavideCoppola
Not everyone is going to be okay with this.. Those people really need to get a life
  • Nash
Don't like teasers for trailers too, in general. But this is how it's bloody done!
  • looks good
  • steve
At first glance I didn't get it, but after a few seconds I remembered those terrible batman costumes delivered to us by Joel Schumacher and got it lol
    • Andre
This was, indeed, my one true hope for this film.
  • shiboleth
I like Superman being in a bad mood. Hey, enough with this mr. nice guy story, huh?

i don't get how Batman would be any kind of challenge for superman. Instead of taking off his mask, superman could just reach into his chest and rip out batman's heart. End-Scene Superman's main weakness isn't kryptonite its his inability to kill, however a LOT of innocent people die while he is not trying to kill the bad guy.
