Watch: Tina Fey & Amy Poehler Get Wild in First TV Spot for 'Sisters'
So far we've only seen one photo from the forthcoming comedy Sisters, but with Tina Fey & Amy Poehler hosting the 72nd Golden Globe Awards tonight, a surprise TV spot has popped up online showing off the first footage from the film. It's pretty short, but Tina and Amy get pretty wild and crazy, and we get to see them in their best 80s garb (including sideways ponytails) as well. There's bound to be a full trailer coming soon, and we can't wait to see what Fey and Poehler do together on the big screen this time, and hopefully improve on their previous attempt in Baby Mama. And we haven't even seen Maya Rudolph yet.
Here's the TV spot for Jason Moore's Sisters from Universal Pictures:
Sisters (formerly known as The Nest) is directed by Jason Moore (Pitch Perfect) and written by Paula Pell ("Saturday Night Live"). Tina Fey and Amy Poehler play two thirtysomething sisters who return home to find their parents’ house, the house they grew up in has been put up for sale. So in order to properly say goodbye to their home, they decide to spend one more wild weekend together there, bonding, feuding and finally growing up, which includes throwing the kind of raging party they were known for back in high school. Maya Rudolph also stars in the film hitting December 18th, 2015, with Star Wars: Episode VII.
