Justice League Wrap Video

"There's a stranger who comes to this village from the sea…" Whoa! Zack Snyder has posted a badass video after wrapping production on Justice League in the UK, with tons of behind-the-scenes footage. They're not holding back at all! This movie is the continuation of the Batman v Superman series in the DC universe bringing together six superheroes: Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, and Ray Fisher as Cyborg. There may be a few others, and the extensive cast includes Willem Dafoe, Jeremy Irons, Amber Heard, Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, and J.K. Simmons as Gordon. There's a lot of great stuff in this video, and it's exciting to see so much behind-the-scenes revealed way before release next year. Fire this up below & enjoy.

Here's the UK production wrap video for Zack Snyder's Justice League movie, posted on his Twitter:

You can still see the first Comic-Con trailer for DC's Justice League here, to see more finished footage.

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes-Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash – it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions. Justice League is once again directed by Zack Snyder, of Batman v Superman, Man of Steel, Sucker Punch, Watchmen, 300, and Dawn of the Dead previously. The screenplay is by Chris Terrio (Argo). WB will unleash the Justice League on November 17th, 2017 late next year. Impressions?

  • this movie will be visually Epic, as usual. Let's hope this time he hired a better screenwriter. Ben Affleck looks great by the way.

The mediocrity that was bvs(theatrical) and SS cannot deter me from looking forward to this film more than any other between now and November 17.

I enjoyed BvS. I don't understand all the backlash. I think it's stylistically and story wise better than the avenger movies. Nice to see a super hero movie without that Marvel candy coated shell. Suicide squads plot was a bit of s mess but the character vignettes were excellent.
      • Jon Odishaw
I can actually say I am a fan of the extended cut of bvs. I don't think it was special but on the whole not deserving of backlash. I thought Suicide squad was a good film as well. They just aren't living up to the hype and the greatness that is achievable with the talent involved.

I enjoyed BvS theatrically but definitely agree that the extended cut did make for a better film. It filled out some of the events that seemed coincidental in the theatrical version especially with Lex's overall plans. I can't wait for JL!

I loved BvS - the fight at the end is my favorite superhero fight yet. and I think the movie (as a whole) works as a setup film for JL.
I feel like they shot this really fast. I am pretty excited for this will become. Will it disappoint most people, almost assuredly. But I for one, am tempering my expectations for something fun and nicely shot.

I don't know, they've been shooting it since before comic con. That's a while for a movie these days
      • Jon Odishaw
I agree. It felt like the typical length it takes.
    • Yeah, that's at least 4 or 5 months of production. That's a LONG time. Normal for an indie film is 30 days. Big movies take 2 or 3 months. 5 months (with more going on to fill in the gaps it sounds like) is a pretty hefty production. Maybe it seems fast because they started production very quickly after Batman v Superman was released, and they started teasing the behind-the-scenes stuff right away.

I suppose you are correct. I may have forgotten we are already in autumn.
  • chuckpenz
Looks like no supes in this until the last twenty minutes of the film
    • Jon Odishaw
That's okay with me. He's had the most screen time of any Leaguer by far. It will give more time to flesh out the other members.

At this moment, I'm not that pumped. Following the disappointments of MoS, BvS and SS, it's hard to get really fired up. Must be that whole once bitten thing.
    • dan
well, if you didn't like MoS or BvS, why even waste your time coming to this thread? it doesn't sound like you're going to like JL.
      • Payne by name
Yeah, you're right. I should have left the thread to those blindly in favour, apologies.
        • dan
this response makes no more sense than your first post.
          • Payne by name
It's really not that hard to figure out if you try.
          • dan
            and you keep posting nonsense.
          • Payne by name
            And you keep demonstrating retardation.
  • ff
Who is still hiring this guy? He's like the modern day MCG.

While BvS wasn't the film most of us wanted, one can hope that Snyder redeems himself with Justice League. If it sucks, this dude is done for awhile. Here's hoping....
