Batman v Superman Playoffs

"Tell me - do you bleed?" The marketing for this movie is definitely designed to rile up fans. Zack Snyder took to Twitter to drop this dark new TV spot for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, tagging it in connection with the NFL Playoff games (during which it will be shown). The TV spot is just a scene from the movie, showing Batman (played by Ben Affleck) arriving by Batmobile, clipping Superman (played by Henry Cavill), bouncing off of him and crashing. The two briefly come face to face, but then it cuts. Some footage we've seen before of Batman in the Batmobile is also from this scene. Similar to the dream sequence that aired before the other trailer, this one is the perfect tease to get people talking. Which side are you on?

Here's the NFL Playoffs TV spots for Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, via Twitter:

Zack Snyder's sequel Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in the DC Comics Universe will bring back Henry Cavill as Superman and introduce Ben Affleck as Batman. Amy Adams, Laurence Fisburne and Diane Lane are all reprising their roles from Man of Steel, while more new additions include Gal Gadot as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, and Holly Hunter in a role newly created for the film. Jason Momoa will also appear as Aquaman and there have been rumblings of Ray Fisher as Cyborg. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters next spring, March 25th, 2016. I'm torn. I love this line but I expected the context to be better.

Yeah I liked it better in the previous trailer.

In the actual movie there will probably be more dialogue in between, I think it's just cut this way for the tv spot, they do this kind of stuff all the time.

Yo, Superman effed up Batman's perfect drift.

I'm sorry, I just don't like this iteration of Batman. It looks so two-dimensional. Regardless of who's playing him, I really dislike this look.

Are we sure that's not Will Sasso under that Batman costume...?

      It's Artie Lang.

This just doesn't look good. Sorry. Might give this one a pass.

I'm with you except there is no 'might' about me giving this a pass...and I ain't a bit sorry about it....lol...

Ha. I may very soon be with you on that

I don't like Snyder's movies, but Affleck hasn't done wrong lately. He adds a certain gravitas which has me intrigued.
    • I'm Batman
Ha, I literally just posted my post up there and read this basically saying what I was saying. I totally agree! Snyder isn't my favorite, but for some reason, with Affleck pumped about it, it has me wondering...

I hope Jesse Eisenberg gets punched really hard in this movie.

I'm not going to lie, I'm horribly worried that this movie is going to be terrible. The one thing that makes me think it might be okay is that Ben Affleck seems to have learned his lesson about crap movies and has been doing quite well recently. Reading some interview he talked about how impressed he is with this movie, and although he's likely just pushing it forward like any actor does, for some reason I wonder if maybe he (the same guy that has directed some great movies recently) actually truly believes these movies are going to be great films. Fingers crossed. Expectations are low, hopefully I'll be delightfully surprised.

I'm sure it will be at least over a 70% on the Rotten tomato website.
