First Unimpressive Trailer for Joe Nimziki's New 'The Howling: Reborn'

"You lycanthropes are hard-frickin'-core!" This is meant to be watched as a joke, because boy does this look terrible, just terrible. And that's a shame, because Joe Dante's classic werewolf thriller The Howling is actually damn good, but with Twilight ruling the box office these days, we're only going to get even crappier imitations. This first trailer comes from Bloody-Disgusting and the film stars Landon Liboiron, Lindsey Shaw and Ivana Milicevic. Seriously, this looks atrocious, and I'm sorry for subjecting anyone to such a painful experience, but every once in a while we need something bad like this to set the lowest standards at.

On the eve of his high school graduation, the unremarkable Will Kidman finally bonds with the girl he has long yearned for. But he also discovers a dark secret from his past... that he's about to become a werewolf.

The Howling: Reborn is directed by filmmaker Joe Nimziki, a former studio marketing executive making his feature directing debut from a script he wrote with James Robert Johnston (Joy Ride 2). This is a remake of Joe Dante's original werewolf film The Howling from 1981. Anchor Bay is releasing The Howling: Reborn, most likely straight-to-DVD, but they haven't set a release date or put out any other details yet. Stay tuned!

Looks awesome, dunno what you guys are on about! the original Howling had a lot of cheesy soft porn moments in it and was pretty terrible too as I remember, this is more Underworld the High School years.

I loved the first Howling but they got kind of silly after that. There was one called my sisters a werewolf. Pretty bad.

This has the look of a B movie; so terrible, no story and the acting is like teens' version of twilight.

The truly, truly sad thing here is that there is a good idea there for a "Howling" film for this generation. I like the initial idea of a dark and gritty Howling/Teen Wolf movie but this garbage "Twilight" sparkling, vanilla,milquetoast version just kills it!! Trust me guys, this WILL have a theatrical release, probably this October or something.

i followed this movie for a year and it ended up being the shitty twilight rip off i feared it would turn into. man o man and i heard new moon rising sucked. this is a sequel by the way (Not a remake) but damn dude like why? why so bad? couldve at least stayed true to the earlier sequels and been gee idk a Howling movie!
