Worth Watching - September 15: Full Eragon Trailer

by

This is the real one, finally out and online! And WOW does it look incredible! This isn't what they showed at Comic-Con… they showed another reel of some dragon footage and scenes that weren't in this trailer at all. But this trailer shows much better scenes in the end, like in last 30 seconds! With the dragon fighting - amazing! Fox has been delaying this movie further and further in order to improve the CGI, being done by Weta Workshop in New Zealand, of the dragon and it looks pretty incredible so far! I just want to see an HD version of this trailer to really tell for sure…

Eragon

Eragon will be released world-wide in theaters on December 15th, 2006. Eragon is directed by first time director / veteran ILM visual effects supervisor Stefen Fangmeier. It stars newcomer Ed Speleers (who has never acted before), Jeremy Irons, John Malkovich, Djimon Hounsou, and Sienna Guillory. It tells the story of a farm boy who finds a dragon egg and discovers that he is the next dragon-rider and must defend his home against an evil king.
