First Annual Sundance Awards and Complete Review List

February 5, 2007

Sundance 07Oh, how much I miss Sundance! I've put together this final wrap-up for anyone who's looking for an archive of all the Sundance reviews and coverage from I already miss being out in Park City and can't wait to get back next year. Most importantly, I can't wait until these films open publicly in theaters around the country - as I want to hear feedback from everyone else, too. They are some of the best films of the year and they need to be seen by more than just those who attended Sundance. To see if any of the films you're looking forward to are actually ever going to come to theaters, check out the counter-part to this - Sundance Films Coming Soon To Theaters.

Included within is Alex's Best of the Fest, a complete Sundance 07 review list, links to all the daily coverage and interviews.

Alex's Best of the Fest:

#1 - The Good Life - A beautiful, brilliant film, with a cast that delivers some great performances, and a mood and feeling incomparable to any other film at the fest. And on top of that, the only film at Sundance that really made me cry.
#2 - Clubland - This one and The Go-Getter make me really want to fall in love, and I mean really. This movie is just wonderful, comedic, and most of all very heartfelt. Make sure to catch it when Warner Independent releases it here in the US.
#3 - The Go-Getter - This is the one movie I keep thinking of when I remember Sundance. I really want to watch it again, but it was the mellow beauty of Zooey Deschanel's character that really pulled me further into it.
#4 - Angel-A
#5 - Delirious
Honorable Mentions: King of California / Fido / Waitress
