Rudd and William Scott Team Up for 2008 Comedy: Big Brothers

Paul Rudd, most well known as Brian Fantana in Achorman and also starring in 40 Year Old Virgin, Reno 911!: Miami, and The Ten from Sundance, will be teaming up with Seann William Scott, most well known as Stifler in American Pie, in a 2008 comedy called Big Brothers. The best part of it is the actual plot.
The film, directed by Luke Greenfield (who also directed The Girl Next Door) and being released by Universal, is about a pair of beer company PR reps who get in trouble and become Big Brother mentors. They then proceed to mentor kids and provide immoral advice to them. Sounds like a better version of Beerfest. The script is being written by Timothy Dowling (with no major previous writing credits) and devised as an R-rated film - a good call!
The Hollywood Reporter announced this news with a quote from the director:
"These guys are the absolute worst big brothers because they are giving horribly immoral advice to their teenage 'little brothers,'" said Greenfield, adding that there will be a nationwide search to find the kid actors.
On top of all that, the film originally was going to be a drama then got shifted into a comedy by the filmmakers. Sounds like some good Hollywood fun!
