WORTH WATCHING
Another Christmas Themed TV Spot for The Spirit!
by Alex Billington
November 25, 2008
Screw it - this TV spot sold me. After every other trailer, poster, the Comic-Con footage, and everything else I've seen for The Spirit, it was this TV spot alone that finally sold me better than anything else. There's something just wonderfully appealing about it. Maybe it's that I love the "Carol of the Bells" song or that I love seeing action without any sound or all of the above, but damn, this got me. I'm definitely going to see The Spirit and I'm going to see it on Christmas Day, damnit! Sin City 2 be damned, at the very least, it looks like Frank Miller has made an entertaining movie. This Christmas… it's time to believe… in heroes.
Watch the second Christmas TV spot for The Spirit:
The Spirit is both written and directed by legendary comic book author Frank Miller, who previously worked with Robert Rodriguez to direct segments of Sin City. The film is based Will Eisner's newspaper comic strip of the same name that originally debuted in 1940. Lionsgate pushed up its release from January next year. The Spirit will now hit theaters everywhere on December 25th, Christmas Day.

@ #6 isn't that the whole point of some movies? to be at least entertaining? Just curious, either way, i love this style of movie and i am excited for it!

To the people complaining: then don't see it simple as that. And let the people who want to see it enjoy it. It's not effecting your life. This tv spot just made me want to see it more.

The only reason I'll be watching this movie is Samuel L. Jackson, the man captures my attention all the damn time in every movie he's ever been in.
