G-Force Teaser Trailer

I really thought it couldn't get any worse than Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian this upcoming summer, but here we have G-Force. For the longest time, I never actually knew what it that title stood for and hoped it meant something awesome, as this is a Jerry Bruckheimer production. But alas, G-Force stands for Guinea Pig-Force, or something like that, I think. Whatever it is, it looks terrible, and we have the first teaser trailer here to prove it. I'm sorry, but stupid talking animals aren't funny anymore. And sadly I know this is going to end up being a huge summer hit, just because Bruckheimer has turned it into an exciting, high-energy family movie. Oh well, that's Hollywood for you…

For more info, head to the official Disney website:

G-Force is directed by visual effects maestro turned director Hoyt Yeatman, who is making his directorial debut with this movie. The screenplay was written by husband and wife writers Cormac and Marianne Wibberley, of The 6th Day, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, National Treasure, and The Shaggy Dog previously. Nicolas Cage, Steve Buscemi, and Penélope Cruz are all providing their voices for various characters in the film. G-Force will hit theaters everywhere on July 24th this upcoming summer.

I'm sorry Alex, while it looks bad, it does look fun. Saw this trailer in front of BEDTIME STORIES on Xmas and the whole house was cracking up. Grante dit is for kids, but it is not as bad as you are making it out to be.

That's Tracy Morgan!

Darunia on Dec 31, 2008

Fox on Dec 31, 2008

WAIT A MINUTE, i thought g-force was a anime about 5 power ranger sorta guys fighting forces of eveil, thats my assumption, they should sue them for copy right infringment and cancel this lame ass movie AND be ashamed for gassing us up by bring back a throwback(talking animals) and i thought hollywood couldn;t get know whats gonna happen right, we're eventully gonna way screw holly wood and pick up a book and read again...IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT?

ill will on Dec 31, 2008

Of course this looks worse than Night at the Museum, because that movie doesn't look too bad at all

Chris W on Dec 31, 2008

Just because it's a kids movie doesn't mean you nitwits have to watch it.

nem on Dec 31, 2008

That looks fun. 😀

Geez on Dec 31, 2008

@4 I was thinking the logo was a Dharma ripoff myself.

Will S. on Dec 31, 2008

I just got really sad... The last line in the trailer is the best description I can give for this.

CSpuppydog on Dec 31, 2008

It'll be interesting to know what they'll call the 'REAL' G-Force movie, when they make that one.... I see a legal battle coming....

Ross on Dec 31, 2008

It's like his wife told him to make a movie about his daughter's guinea pig to make up for missing her last few birthdays... Simply terrible

peloquin on Dec 31, 2008

Yes this looks silly but not quite as bad as some of the `awsome` looking trailers this site promoted into the infitine that turned out to be turd. This is a a kid flick, not you pseudo wanna be intelligent crap ala Watchmen or whatever that is popular to praise at the moment.

Shige on Dec 31, 2008

Sry about the spelling misstakes its NY eve and Im quite drunk.

Shige on Dec 31, 2008

silly and probably lame, but Night at the Museum 2 doesn't look half bad.

scm1000 on Dec 31, 2008

alex i had the exact same problem. when i heard the title and saw that it was being produced by none other than jerry bruckheimer, i got excited, until i found out it was about talking guinea pigs. i mean, we got alvin and the chipmucks, then beverly hills chihuahua, and now this shyt? c'mon, really. it is a bruckheimer production, though, and he rarely is wrong when it comes to producing movies

LeeMan on Dec 31, 2008

I too thought it was going to be Gatchaman/Battle for the Planets/G-Force. In the Imortal words of the Dreamcast VMU...."What a disapointment"

Hirogen on Dec 31, 2008

Pretty shitty looking but the last line got me...Wainwright III is the man.

Mr. Wizard on Dec 31, 2008

Zach Galifianakis AND Will Arnett? This is gonna be so awesome.

ROB on Dec 31, 2008

Awwww man... Zach Galifinakinakilakinas AND Will Arnett signed on for this thing? Awwwww... I hope they paid Zach in hookers. That's the only way it'd be worth it for him.

Icarus on Dec 31, 2008

wtf are you talking about? Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian's trailer looked very funny and the first movie was awsome

Phizik on Dec 31, 2008

Guys put this movie into context, its for kids, its for talking animals, and Disney, when you add it up and decide to pull your heads outta your asses it looks like a great kids movie. WTF Alex do you want families with little kids taking them to see the Watchmen or something, gimme a break dude. If your gonna be the movie connoisseur you want to be then you better open your mind a little. Yes your prob in your late 20s early 30s so No, you don't wanna see this, but for kids it looks fun.

Richard on Dec 31, 2008

anything with zach galahfgvaklhlis is good. lol, sry abt the last name.

Darrin on Dec 31, 2008

It doesn't look THAT bad.....

Chris C. on Dec 31, 2008

I'm Dissapointed. When I first heard of this I thought it was about the "Battle Of The Planets" G-Force. Remember the old Sandy Frank cartoon with the awesome Hoyt Curtin score? It and Star Blazers were the coolest thing in the late 70's and early 80's and Id always hoped to see a true to canon live action version of both. Ah well, I won't waste my time or money.

Simon on Jan 1, 2009

@9 This is obviously a movie about how the Dharma Initiative started. The symbol just changed a little over time.

Tronathon on Jan 1, 2009

Dammit!! One of these times when you do a Don't Watch posting, I'm NOT gonna watch! I am so glad I don't have kids right now. I would rather watch a movie about 50 Cent and the G-Unit being undercover operatives than this.

kevjohn on Jan 1, 2009

for some reason..... i have the utter feeling to yell for my money back......

harlem shake on Jan 1, 2009

I'm in my early 20s and think this movie looks great! for kids that is... hahaha. though honestly looks like a 'what if spy kids were rodents?' movie. its disney. its espionage. its 3D. need I say anything more? also, stop posting the words 'DONT WATCH.' the masochist inside me takes over and i then have to watch it because of that. 😛

dave13 on Jan 2, 2009

only have one G-force and is the original japanese anime ! this movie is Plagiarism

spawn on Jan 2, 2009

Oh, sigh. Go ahead and judge me, but I laughed at Will Arnett's one-liner. And then lamented the state of the career of Zack Galifinakis.

Great White Snark on Jan 2, 2009

Everyone knows G-force is the name of the Japanese anime from the early 80's. Google the word "G-force cartoon" and you'll know... what jerry is doing here is a damn shame.. Its ok for a Kids movie but name it something else. Dont try and fool the consumers with that title.

harlem shake on Jan 2, 2009

janeorim on Jan 2, 2009

Simon is right! What about Star Blazers while you're at it! I wonder who could play Starsha?

janeorim on Jan 2, 2009

i will see this ... but only because of Zach Galifianakis ...

A-Dog on Jan 5, 2009

NO ONE tells me what to do, i will watch it.

Silver on Jan 6, 2009

i shouldnt have watched that...

Silver on Jan 6, 2009

That was Zach Galifianakis wasn't it? Why does he keep agreeing to do shitty shitty movies?

Syphous on Jan 9, 2009

Steve Buscemi should stop doing the voices of animated rodents. I'd like to see him in something good again.

-Peter- on Jan 12, 2009

it for kids people geez it's supposed to be silly kids like that

neonblue on Jan 14, 2009

Oh lordy, it was Bill Nighy. Bill, come back from the dark side.

Barb on Jan 17, 2009

I think that's the aim: It IS supposed to be a silly family know, something that parents can enjoy with their kids. It's Disney, so it'll be more of a fun/playful action comedy instead of those dark, violent ones, you know? I personally think we need some of those lighthearted adventures!
