Megan Fox Transformers 2

You've got to love the way everyone is talking about Transformers 2. Of course I'm looking forward to it, but the way all of the people involved are saying it's going to be so much bigger and better actually has me more excited than I probably should be. Hottie Megan Fox is the latest to chime in via MTV with some bombastic comments, saying how much bigger, badder, and more intense Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen will be. However, she doesn't mention it will be better, and that's because she instead talks about how much they're reworking the script in the middle of shooting. "As big as the first movie was, this is 10 times as big, 10 times as many set pieces, explosions, and acrobatic stunts." Want more?

After sharing that "Shia and I make out a little bit [but] I don't know if anyone wants to see that," Fox went on to talk about how much they're reworking the script. "We've been having script meetings, and we've been reworking the script, because they wrote it fast because of the writer's strike," she explained. "And, we've just been going through and trying to do some character stuff for Shia and myself in the middle of this crazy world that they're in." Script rewrites? Oh no. Thankfully Bay's movies don't really need a great script to at least be entertaining. As long as Megan Fox still looks hot, they eventually make out, and we get to see some big ass robots battle each other for two hours straight, I'm more than satisfied.

That sounds like it's exactly what we'll get. What has Michael Bay been telling Fox? "His main note to me is just to look hot; so I try my best." And as for more of the giant robot goodness, she continues on. "I can tell you that we're on locations in some really exotic places. It's just going to be a badass movie. It's just going to be a popcorn-visual-spectacle, summer film." Do we need to hear anything more than that? Although hearing Megan Fox talk so bluntly doesn't really mean that this movie will be the best of next year's summer, it certainly doesn't mean this is going to suck (at least I hope). For now, I'll wait to hear more (and see more), even though Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is already quite high on my most anticipated list for next summer.

I mean, don't get me wrong, giant robots kicking eachother's asses, as well as occasional glimpses of Ms. Fox's ass seem like some quality entertainment. But this seems a bit cocky, "Hey, we're not really concerned about the quality of the script because we've got explosions, boobs, and a number after the title! I'm Michael-Freakin-Bay! How the hell can we go wrong?" Hearing this makes me feel like Transformers 2 is going to be a huge disappointment.

is there some Hollywood training camp to make young actors sound like headlines on movie websites? what does "popcorn-visual-spectacle" mean? absolutely nothing. except it sounds like something harry knowles would say, so people are expected to accept it.

I'm excited for Transformers 2 as well, but I agree with "Icarus" that the film's producers or someone should probably put tape over Fox's mouth to shut her up. There's got to be a better spokesperson for the film than Megan Fox.

glad to here this new info, lets hope all this doesn't go to Bay's head and screws it all up but i have confidents in him to make a great action flick for the summer. Loved the first one and looking forward to this cant wait to see the first trailer which wont be for a while but im waiting 🙂

I think it's great news. Since when do we turn to a Michael Bay movie for plot and dialogue of Shakespearean proportions? It's logical that this sequel will be amped up and will kick some major ass. Luckily, the screenwriters have lots of cartoons and comic books to draw from. The visual effects will, no doubt, be phenomenal. I'm pretty excited.

am i the only person who didn't find much substance in the first Transformers outing? i just didn't think it was that good really. sure it had great special effects, but that's about all. the story and the acting were pretty crappy if you ask me. it was a big letdown for a childhood favorite to me. i just can't get excited about a sequel.

10 I may be in the minority here aaron, but I never saw the Transformers cartoons when I was a kid. Never read a comic / manga, never had anything to do with Transformers aside from checking out the occasional toy. A further minority I may be in is that I did find substance in Transformers, I thought it was unique and original and the story actually pulled at my heart strings. Was a great experience. Hearing that what they're aiming for is boobs and explosions doesn't lure me in. But I wasn't expecting much else from the other one and didn't follow the news or trailers leading up to it. I just went and was blown away. I think that's what we all should start doing so movies start being good.
